The Great Ocean Road is one of the most beautiful scenic tours in the world, and one of the top reasons to visit Melbourne.
It winds along the coast for around 320 kilometers and offers views of the famous Twelve Apostles, Otway and Port Campbell National Parks, Loch Ard Fjord and Apollo Bay.

Sydney

The historic Rocks Quarter with its many cozy restaurants, souvenir stores and galleries will be the next point of visit. Today you will hear the story of Australia’s discovery, the founding of Sydney, and learn about the peculiarities of modern social and political life of the city’s residents.

Visit Wentworth Falls, descend into the Blue Mountains valley where you can stroll between age-old giants, breathe in the thick, evaporating eucalyptus air, photograph the famous Three Sisters cliffs and hear the romantic legend behind the origin of this unusual mountain ensemble; Have lunch in a cafe overlooking the valley, walk to the observation deck of the Grand Canyon – a unique creation of nature, stretching for tens of kilometers, the gorge, which is covered with green age-old eucalyptus. These giants still seem to remember the dinosaurs strolling in their shadow, because the Australian canyon is five times older than the most famous canyon in Colorado.

Cairns (Great Barrier Reef)

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef. The ridge has more than 2,900 individual coral reefs and 900 islands in the Coral Sea, stretching along the northeast coast of Australia for 2,500 kilometers and covering about 344,400 square kilometers. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest natural feature on Earth formed by living organisms – you can see it from space.
Day 9 – Cairns (Great Barrier Reef)

Today you will visit the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef in the world.

The blue waters of the ocean, coral reefs, a huge variety of the underwater world will leave you with the most positive emotions. You will be brought to the reef on a modern catamaran (length about 45 meters). On the reef equipped with a floating platform, which is all you need for a comfortable stay. You can swim, snorkel, walk on the sea bottom in a special helmet, dive with scuba diving (extra charge), observe the underwater life on the reef from the window of the submarine, make a flight over the reef in a small helicopter (extra charge). The cruise includes lunch (buffet). At the end of the cruise you will be taken back to the mainland.
